I would love to create a Custom Wedding Map for you!  I typically communicate by email and texting.  The process starts off with my sending you a simple form to fill out.  I also request photos of the bride and groom, in order to create a drawing that well-represents you.

Upon receipt of the completed form, and a 50% deposit, I begin the first of three design stages:  a rough pencil sketch, a detailed pencil drawing, and the final inked and water-colored painting.

I will email you a photo of the pencil sketch for your review and for you to make any revisions or changes.  Once I receive this feedback and your approval, I move on to the detailed pencil drawing, incorporating those revisions/changes.

When the detailed pencil drawing is complete, I will email you a photo of it.  Once again, you will review it and tell me of any revisions/changes needed.  Upon your approval of the pencil drawing, the inking begins, at which point no further changes can be made.

I request 3-4 weeks turnaround time with prompt info, input and approvals given in a timely manner.

The more detailed the information that is given, the more personal the map!  Photos of the bridal couple, pets, and special places visited will all be incorporated into your custom keepsake. 

I also can lay out the text for the reverse side of the map, as this gives your guests one format for what’s going on the weekend of the wedding.  This text typically includes a brief Welcome Note, the Schedule of Wedding Weekend Activities, and Local Attractions.   I can also handle the printing of the maps with the texts.  Both of these options are additional fees.

I have recently been enlarging the original map to poster size and then mounting it on foam core board.  It is then ready to be framed (typically by the client).  This version has been displayed prominently on an easel at both Rehearsal Dinners and Wedding Receptions, and the guests have loved seeing the bride and groom’s story shown in this unique way!

My Wedding Maps have many applications.  They have been used as a Save the Date card/Magnet, Wedding Invitation,  Wedding Program cover, Hospitality Bag Tags and Stickers! (I photo shop a portion to create the tag)
